Baptism
Preparation for Baptism, the sacrament of initiation into the Catholic faith, includes a meeting and discussion on the sacrament between our priest and both parents and Godparents.
Godparents must be Catholic, minimally 16 years of age, have received their First Communion and Confirmation, and living an example reflecting and in harmony with the faith. The two godparents must be of the opposite gender.
Parents wishing to have their child baptized are invited to call our parish office for further information.
Sacramental Preparation
First Penance, First Communion
Candidates should minimally be attending Grade 2 to register. Preparation for First Holy Communion will start in September during 10:00 AM Mass. The celebration will take place in May or early June.
Confirmation
The sacrament in which the already baptized receive the Gifts of the Holy Spirit takes place once a year. This celebration will take place on a Saturday in April. Candidates must attend preparation classes for two years. They must be at least in grade 5 to register.
Reconciliation
A priest is available for confession thirty minutes prior to all Masses or by appointment.
Marriage
Please contact our office minimally six months before the marriage date to book an appointment with our priest, including registration for marriage preparation courses.
